Juno Dunes Natural Area

Water views on each side

Visitors to the 569-acre Juno Dunes Natural Area can travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The ocean-front tract has a great view of the surrounding area atop an ancient sand dune. The west tract has several miles of trails and floating docks to allow boaters access to the site from the intracoastal waterway.

• Sawgrass Trail (paved) 0.21 miles
• Scrub Oak Trail (sandy) 1.8 miles to Intracoastal Waterway
• Scrub Hickory Trail (sandy)  2.1 miles
• Boardwalk through sawgrass wetland
• Observation Tower overlooking basin marsh
• Tidal channels are accessible by kayak or canoe from the intracoastal waterway.
• The closest canoe/kayak launch is located at Bert Winters Park 13425 Ellison Wilson Rd
